Antioxidants in beer are still being discovered. Certain new antiox­ idants have been isolated from beers recently, such as quercetin-3-O-(6′′ - malonyl)-glucoside, saponarin and hordatines A-C, which need to be further studied (Spreng & Hofmann, 2018). <ref name=yangao/>
